Contributing towards a new skilling and employment agenda for Uganda
National Skilling and Employment Summit · 5 and 6 May 2026 · Ministry of Public Service
Hybrid Summit · Kololo Independence Grounds, Kampala + live online
Resources
Toolkits, one-pagers, and practical guides drawn from the official concept note and partner materials, for young people, educators, employers, and facilitators.
Core documents to watch for
As the Summit approaches, the secretariat and partners will publish programme overviews, speaker bios, and partner packs built from the final 2026 concept (CDF) and official Ministry materials. This page will list plain-language briefs, slides, and FAQ sheets for young people, employers, and educators, so you can prepare without wading through long policy PDFs first.
Planned resource types (CDF-aligned)
- Youth one-pager: what to expect at Kololo, how to use side events and the expo, and who to call if you need help; how the live online programme fits in.
- Employer and investor sheet: co-design opportunities, expo presence, and how commitments are captured and followed up (one programme, one follow-up map).
- TVET and university companion: lining up students, institutional delegations, and research or poster sessions with the Summit programme.
- Community host brief: for districts and youth groups linking pre-Summit listening to the plenary in Kampala, as envisioned in the concept.
