Many young Ugandans are already in programmes: Youth Livelihood, UWEP, skilling the girl child, Emyooga, PDM, Young Africa style work, and more. The Summit does not pretend they never existed. It asks which pieces work, what is missing, and what to scale with new partners and policy.
Why this page exists
The final 2026 concept (CDF) does not pretend national programmes never existed. It asks what works, what is missing, and what to scale with new partners and policy. We use this space to signal projects and stories that should be in the plenary, in the art and essay space, or in the Expo.
If you run a project that helps young people into work, training, or small enterprise, and you are willing to share what you learned honestly, we want to know. That includes work linked to Youth Livelihood, UWEP, skilling the girl child, Emyooga, PDM, and similar initiatives: the Summit is where those threads meet the big tent at Kololo and the online programme.
